Green Okanogan has signed the Covid Safe Because We Care business pledge with the Okanogan County Health Department.GO Safe During the Pandemic
Here are the Covid-19 safety procedures we have used since re-opening after the Spring 2020 6-week closure.
Protocol at GO Recycling:
- Wear a mask (volunteers often need to work on the recycling bins while you are there);
- Only 2 vehicles can recycle at a time (to maintain social distancing between recyclers);
- and we ask that you sort materials and flatten boxes at home before you come to keep the recycling line moving swiftly for everyone.
Protocol at GO Again Thrift:
Donations of clean, normal GO Again Thrift items are gratefully accepted.
- Please use the back door to enter and exit the thrift area; The entrance through the warehouse/baler room is reserved for workers. Parking will be available in the back.
- Wear a mask while waiting outside and while inside shopping to protect our volunteers and other shoppers.
- AND keep physically distanced when shopping inside AND outside when waiting to enter.
- Only 4 customers at a time in the store.
Donations of clean, normal GO Again Thrift items are gratefully accepted.
As we do our best to keep everything sanitized, please drop off donations in a designated spot outside the warehouse entrance (not thrift area), and we'll let things sit at least 24 hours before we handle or put things out for sale.
